Introduction

The MSDS Administrator is a PC application which allows you to scan, catalog, search, and reproduce Material Safety Data Sheets for your organization. It is secure, networkable, and compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, and XP as well as Windows 2000 and Novell Netware 4, 5, and 6 network environments.

From the simple to use interface allows anyone to lookup safety information within a few mouse clicks. Safety offices or MSDS Kiosk's can have the MSDS pager (shown right) on screen to quickly access the information in the event of an emergency.


Easy to Use

The MSDS Administrator has been intuitively designed so that anyone can find the information they need quickly. Searching for products need not even involve a keyboard - all lookup capability can be done using only the mouse in only a few mouse-clicks.

Additionally, repetitive data entry (shown below) has been reduced by utilizing modern database techniques, auto-fill fields, and pull-down boxes to find information already entered in. Manufacturer, emergency, and location information can all be reused from product to product. The MSDS Administrator also ships with a populated CAS Library.

Product Scanning and Searching

When it comes time to scan in your search for your documents, you'll appreciate the MSDS Administrator's intuitive interface, shown below. Among the options for scanning document, you can also flip, rotate, resize, and print replacement documents. The MSDS Administrator also supports any TWAIN-Compliant scanner.

Container Labeling

Among the information you can store with the MSDS Administrator is container labeling information. This allows you to reproduce container labels so you'll have important safety information where you need it most. As you can see from the screen shot below, there are several options you have to properly label and identify your hazardous materials.

Generating Reports

Reporting is another feature that the MSDS Administrator includes. There are several reports that can be generated including, Inventory, Product Locations, and CAS information, among others.

Security

The MSDS Administrator has been designed with security in mind. Whether used in a network environment or as a standalone application, all modification and deletion options require the user to sign on with an account which would allow modification or deletion. All viewing options can be done without signing on, enabling anyone to access emergency information when the need arises.
